I’m building too.
I’m building my own ecosystem of businesses, services, publishing, and creative work.
And I’ve decided to share more of what happens behind the scenes while I do it.
Not just what everything looks like when it’s finished.

Because I know I’m not the only one figuring some of this out as I go.

If You’re Building It Yourself
The work may already be good. Now you’re building around it.
Maybe you’re an entrepreneur or solopreneur.

I know because I’m doing it too.
I’m interested in the business behind the business.
A beautiful brand can get someone’s attention.
But then they have to use it.
They have to understand what you do. They have to know where to go. They have to decide whether they trust you. They have to inquire, request, book, buy, receive, return, or refer someone else.
There is an entire business experience happening underneath what people see.
That’s the part I’ve become increasingly interested in building.
And I’m doing that while asking another question that matters just as much to me:
How do I build businesses that make money without building a life that revolves around maintaining them?
I want good systems.
I want thoughtful client experiences.
I want businesses that can operate remotely where appropriate.
I want technology and AI to take care of work that doesn’t require me.
I want human interaction where being human actually matters.
And I want time to live my life.
That’s what I’m building toward.
And I’ll share what I learn along the way.

The Work Behind the Work
Building an ecosystem that supports the work I want to do and the life I want to live.
One week I may be working on the infrastructure behind a natural hair care business. Another week I may be refining an email system.
I may be studying a client journey, developing an AJA™ publication, testing an AI workflow, improving a website, documenting an operational process, or figuring out how to make something I currently do manually easier to hand to an assistant or agent later.
Those things may look unrelated from the outside. To me, they’re all part of the same work.
The Purpose Is Simple
